Pride March Victoria

5^th February 2012.

 

Pride March Victoria recognises and celebrates the people and events that inspire the courage, solidarity, pride, diversity and strong sense of community of Victoria's gay, lesbian, bisexual, intersex and transgender people. It organises cultural activities that bring the GLBT community together in a safe and positive environment.

Wow it was amazing day and we had a lot of fun.  It was just so good to be amongst the GLBT community and individuals.  Where each individual can be themselves and express who they are without any judgements placed on them.

A strong sense of unity was felt amongst the community members and individuals.  People are friendly, they came up to us and introduced themselves.  Whilst marching the crowds were cheering us on.

As an event organiser of TV9966 Transgender & Bi Sexual group, I (Tash) am very proud that we took our banner and supported the Transgender & Bi Sexual Community.   

Although TV9966 parties are sex related events as we are a swinger’s party.  However, it is also a social event for Transgender (Male Trans Female) & Bi Sexual to get together in a safe, fun, friendly and non judgemental environment.

Since we hosted TV9966 parties which was 2 ½ years ago, this group is growing from strength to strength.  We have a lot of repeated attendees and I (Tash) am very grateful for their support and encouragement.  They have told their friends and admirers to attend TV9966 party and word of mouth recommendation means a lot to us.  Thank you. 

I (Tash) event organiser for TV9966 parties would like to say a personal Thank You to MsKelly for designing TV9966 logo. 

“Kell the logo is amazing.  It represents who we are TV9966 is not just a Transgender Group but also a Bi Sexual group” This means male, female, couples and Transgender individuals are welcome to TV9966 parties.

Although it is a swingers party an over 18 event, it is also a social party where you are welcome to express yourself and be original.  There is absolutely no pressure to play and each individual’s limitations and boundaries is respected and acknowledge.  Condoms and Lubes are provided at the party.

At all TV9966 parties we provide facilities for Transgender Ladies to get dressed at the party.

TV9966 will definitely be participating in Pride March 2013 and we hope to get more Transgender Girls and Bi Sexual individuals to represent TV9966 in Pride March 2013.
